AI Innovation in Patient Experience
Quantium partnered with Buckinghamshire to develop Quail, an AI-powered patient experience analytics platform now available via the NHS England Federated Data Platform. This transformative solution addresses the NHS’s critical challenge of analysing fragmented patient feedback from complaints, PALS, and incidents. Through advanced AI, Quail automatically identifies themes and patterns that manual processes miss. The partnership delivered tangible improvements: 19 per cent better complaint response times, 200 per cent increase in theme detection, and efficiency gains equivalent to four FTE annually. Now scaled nationally through the FDP, Quail enables trusts across England to transform patient feedback into actionable improvements.
