Transforming Eating Disorder Care Through Virtual Innovation

Orri Online redefines how intensive eating disorder treatment is delivered, using a clinically governed virtual model of symptom interruption. The programme is delivered by a multidisciplinary team that provides psychotherapy, psychiatry, nursing, and dietetics in group and one-to-one settings, as well as online, with support equal to in-person care. It has helped to reduce NHS admissions, shorten hospital stays, and expand access for underserved areas, including regions with no specialist provision. Operating to a Care Quality Commission ”Outstanding” standard, the model demonstrates that digital innovation can enhance accessibility while creating lasting value for patients and the wider healthcare system.
