NHS Leaders’ Health and Wellbeing Programme
NHS Leaders’ Health and Wellbeing is designed to create a proactive culture of staff wellbeing through leadership. The programme uniquely focuses on leader wellbeing and on leaders as enablers of staff wellbeing. It has trained a faculty of 151 internal facilitators, who deliver a leading-edge wellbeing programme across 66 per cent of NHS organisations, achieving an average 25 per cent improvement in personal and team wellbeing. The approximately 6,795 leaders engaging in these programmes each year are improving the wellbeing of 27,180 staff. Many more will benefit from 175 executive leaders who are building wellbeing cultures across 80 organisations and from the inclusion of wellbeing leadership in the NHS Leadership Framework.
