The Helpforce Volunteer to Career programme addresses healthcare workforce priorities by creating an accessible pathway for volunteers to progress step-by-step towards employment, education, or clinical training. The pathway is designed around an organisation’s identified workforce needs, resulting in a pool of experienced and motivated potential employees sourced from the community who may not have otherwise considered a career in healthcare. The programme enables volunteers to support patients immediately and ease pressure on staff.
