South Yorkshire Primary Care Capital Programme
The South Yorkshire Primary Care Capital Programme represents an unprecedented collaborative effort to transform GP premises across the region. The programme comprises 11 projects – from refurbishments to large new-build health centres – and represents delivery on a scale and complexity not previously seen in primary care. A programme-wide approach proved essential to bringing these schemes to fruition for the benefit of current and future populations across South Yorkshire. This included securing £57.4m in NHS Wave 4 Sustainability and Transformation Partnership funding, obtaining business case approval, and finalising funding agreements with local authority partners.
